Wrigley Field Damaged by Storm

The major snow storm that passed through Chicago not only dumped massive amounts of snow, but it also damaged the press box at Wrigley Field.

The 97 year old stadium had tiles fly off the press box and onto the roads near the stadium. Police closed off Clark and Addison street for the rest of the night as they monitored it. With high winds, crews couldn’t repair the press box until Wednesday.

Cubs executives are positive that the repairs will be done before opening day and the stadium will be fine. Many people question the condition of Wrigley Field, and if it’s worth revamping or tearing it down.

Tuesdays storm was one of the biggest snow storms in Chicago history and cities surrounding Chicago. Conditions were so bad that Lake Shore Drive had to be shut down.

    My grandson risked life and limb to take that one. I figure it is the least you could do to mention us.

    If Zack wants to give credit to your site for the picture he can since he wrote the article. However those pictures were heavily circulated, so it is pretty tough to truly identify who to give credit to. Did you see it there Zack? I remember seeing this picture on Facebook, not even linked to an article.
