Chicago Bulls Make No Moves as Trade Deadline Passes

Chicago Bulls fans hoping for the team to make a trade before the deadline are going to be disappointed. The Bulls made no moves as the deadline passed.  Fans have been calling for an upgrade at the SG position for quite some time. Even going as far to start a campaign to Bench Keith Bogans.

Courtney Lee from Houston and O.J. Mayo from Memphis were some of the names involved in trade discussions. It appears that the Bulls were unwilling to part with Omer Asik or Taj Gibson. Due to this unwillingness to let go of them, the trade deadline passed at 3:00 pm EST without a move.

The Chicago Bulls let the NBA trade deadline pass at 2 p.m. CT on Thursday without making a deal.

The Bulls were looking to bolster their shooting guard position, but they weren’t willing to part with Omer Asik or Taj Gibson.

Chicago did trade James Johnson to the Toronto Raptors for a draft pick, becoming more flexible to make a trade, but nothing materialized.

The Bulls will now keep an eye on who will be bought out before the March 1 deadline.
