Jeremy Bates Hired as New Chicago Bears QB Coach

Brad Biggs has announced on Twitter that the Chicago Bears have hired Jeremy Bates as the new QB Coach/Passing game coordinator. Bates was in Denver when Jay Cutler was a Bronco. Phil Emery is already making moves that the fans are loving. He may have a parade thrown in his honor when Matt Forte is re-signed.

Been following Chicago sports for many years. I have ties to Rockford, Illinois however have since been displaced in North Carolina far from Illinois. I am still an avid fan despite the geographical complications in following my teams. I am known as the internet’s #1 Rex Grossman connoisseur

I like the hire. The problem is that Tice is still the OC and, other than Forte, the Bears are lacking in playmakers. They should go after Brandon Marshall.
