Deans Dugout Review: Meeting Shea McClellin

Deans Dugout has been a sports memorabilia staple in Naperville since the owners Dean and Marilyn moved the store to Naperville in 1996. They provide the area with the latest in sports cards, memorabilia, posters, magazines and autograph signings.

Recently the store hosted Shea McClellin, the Bears first round draft pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Boise State DE/OLB greeted fans and signed autographs at the store. For a small price of $30, you got your chance to meet Shea and get your collectible autographed.

Thanks to forum member Brett05, I had the opportunity to meet Shea and get a photo signed from him.

It was a neat experience in general. Deans Dugout is one of the premier sports card shops in the Chicagoland area, and attending this event, I could see why. Not only are the employees very helpful, but they always seem to put the customer first.

There’s always Chicago athletes scheduled to sign at Deans Dugout with the next one being White Sox pitcher Addison Reed. Check out the schedule found here.

Make sure you stop by Deans Dugout next time you want to add to your sports collection!
