Chicago Food & Beer: Captain Morgan Club Opens Again for the Season
One of the more popular pregame destinations around Wrigley Field is open again for the upcoming season. On Monday, the Captain Morgan Club located directly outside of Wrigley Field, opens up for another season as the ideal pregame party place for Cubs fans.
The Captain Morgan Club saw a very solid turnout for Cubs opening day at Wrigley Field and featured a few new food items on their menu.
The chefs at the Captain Morgan Club have constructed new menu items that are sure to be a fan favorite for the upcoming season.
New food items
-Chi-town Dogwurst: This wonderful combination of a Johnsonville Bratwurst and Vienna Beef Hot Dog is served as a half brat and half hot dog that will leave you craving another one. The “Chi-town Dogwurst” gets topped with mustard, tomatoes, grilled onions, celery salt and a pickle. It includes a side of crinkle-cut fries. It’s an excellent choice for brat and hot dog fans.
-Captain’s Burger: The Captain Morgan Club also has something for the burger lovers out there. You can get a Captain’s Burger topped with Captain Morgan Club’s signature secret sauce and served in between fresh potato buns. The price isn’t bad either, you can get a single for $6, or if you’re hungry enough, a double for $9.
The Captain Morgan Club is the premier spot for drinks before you get into the game to watch some Cubs baseball. They have a great selection of imports, domestic and craft beers as well as mixed drinks.
