Can the Hawks even the series up?

After two wild games in St. Louis, the Chicago Blackhawks returned home for Game 3 and shutout the Blues 2-0. It’s a series again.

The ‘Hawks were in both of the games in St. Louis, leading with under a minute left in both before the Blues scored late goals to win both games and a commanding 2-0 series lead.

Now the ‘Hawks have life and they have the United Center behind them as they try to even the series up at two games a piece. The ‘Hawks got off to a fast start with a goal by their Captain Jonathan Toews and never looked back.

It was a more calm and confident team than we saw in the first two games of the series.

The ‘Hawks used Corey Crawford’s impressive play to shut the door on the Blues offense. Crawford has received some criticism during the first two games of the series but got back on track with a great performance Monday night.

If the ‘Hawks want to win the series, Crawford will need to be at his best in protecting the net.

With some momentum on their side the ‘Hawks are looking at their star players to guide them to victory Wednesday night. The Blues on the other hand are trying to regain their grip on the series and put the ‘Hawks on the ropes.

Game four on Wednesday night is sure to be a good one.
