Anthony Rizzo wins MLB “Final Vote”

Anthony Rizzo is going to his first MLB All-Star game. The 24-year-old first baseman won the MLB “Final Man Vote” and will join teammate Starlin Castro in Minnesota. Rizzo was trailing Justin Morneau before taking the lead on Wednesday.

A large social media vote using the hashtag #VoteRizzo helped propel Rizzo to the victory. Rizzo has 20 home runs and 49 RBI on the season for the Cubs and has played better after a slow start to the season.
