The IceHogs hosted the Chicago Wolves for the last time in regular play last night in Rockford. The Home Hot Streak continues for the Hogs, totaling 9 games in a row, at home, they have won. With this win, the Hogs also continued their dominance over the Wolves this season.

Going into the regular season’s last scheduled game tonight, the IceHogs trail behind the Grand Rapid Griffins by just 1 point in the Midwest Division and 1 point behind the Western Conference leader, the Utica Comets.

On April 8th the AHL named Rockford’s Ville Pokka to their 2014-15 All-Rookie Team. This is the first time in IceHogs’ history for a player to receive this honor. Last night before the game started, IceHogs’ GM, Mark Bernard, presented the Award to Pokka.
