Per reports, the Chicago Cubs have traded for starting pitcher Dan Haren from the Miami Marlins. In exchange, the Marlins will receive RHP Ivan Pineyro and SS Elliot Soto.

The 34-year-old pitcher would move into the back end of the Cubs starting rotation. In 2015, Haren has pitched to a 3.42 ERA, and has enjoyed a WHIP of 1.09. Despite that, his FIP is an alarming 4.57. Haren is one of only two starting pitchers (Mark Buehrle) to start 30 games over each of the last ten seasons.
