Joakim Noah expected to be out for an extended time

Life just got a lot tougher for the Chicago Bulls.

In just his fourth game back after suffering a shoulder injury, it looks like Bulls center Joakim Noah will miss an extended amount of time. Noah suffered a separated shoulder during the Bulls loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night and initial reports on the injury are not good.

Noah injured the shoulder as he was battling for a rebound with JaVale McGee:

The time Noah will miss is still unknown as the he will have an MRI done on Saturday, but it doesn’t look good for the former All-Star Center.

Noah is averaging 4.4 points and 9 rebounds a game this season.
