While Scott Darling wasn’t the starting goalie in the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup clinching game last year, he still played a vital part in the team’s success.
Darling grew up in Lemont, Illinois and really became popular with Blackhawks fans last season. But now a new story has surfaced about something Darling did and it’s incredible.

The 27-year-old Darling reached the NHL last season after battling social anxiety issues and alcoholism in his early twenties. Now he’s a Stanley Cup champion and a man who is trying to pay it forward.
