Chicago Bulls trade Kirk Hinrich to Atlanta Hawks

The Chicago Bulls made a trade deadline move afterall. Except it wasn’t the one you were thinking of.

Just minutes after the trade deadline passed, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported that the Bulls have traded veteran guard Kirk Hinrich to the Atlanta Hawks for a second-round pick:

The Bulls were reportedly in discussions with Sacramento in a deal involving Pau Gasol and Orlando for Aaron Brooks. Both deals fell apart and lost traction as the deadline approached.

Spin cycle forever, Kirk.
