Addison Russell is back at it again.
The Chicago Cubs shortstop made another spectacular play during Wednesday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. With the Cubs clinging to a 5-2 lead and the bases loaded, slugger Gregory Polanco was up and hit a little blooper to left field.
Then Addison Russell did something spectacular:
Talk about covering some ground! The catch ended the inning for the Cubs.
Now is also a good time to remind you that Russell is just 22-years-old and has a bright future in the National League.
