Kyle Schwarber mashes a big tater against New York Mets
It’s raining home runs in New York City.
The Chicago Cubs have hit three home runs in four innings Wednesday night against the New York Mets, including opening the game with back-to-back homers by Anthony Rizzo and Ian Happ.
In the fourth inning with the Cubs leading 2-1, it was Kyle Schwarber’s turn to get in on the action.

It was Schwarber’s 12th home run of the season and now 21 of his 36 hits this year have been for extra bases.
The home run measured at 467 feet and the second-longest by a Cubs player this season. The longest? Well that was Schwarber’s 470 foot bomb that he hit on May 23.
