It was a long bumpy ride through the 1st rd but the Hawks did it! For the second straight year the Hawks have advanced to the Western Conference Semi-Finals. Niemi NO-NO!

A great effort by the Hawks that was led by Anti Niemi and his excellent performance.  Goalies for both teams were nearly perfect, and fortunately Niemi came out on top.  Dave Bolland gave the Hawks the 1-0 lead on a back hand off the beatuiful pass by Toews. Coming into the first round match up Blackhawks fans couldn't have been more enthusiastic about the playoffs.  After Friday night the fans couldn't have been anymore deflated.  After a second period goal by Patrick Kane the Predators countered with a goal by J.P.
