It's important that the Bears get off to a good start against Detroit. Otherwise, there's a shot they could start 0-5.
Week 1 – vs Detroit – W (Detroit will be a lot better, but their defense still has ways to go)
Week 2 - @ Dallas – L (not much to say here)
Week 3 – vs Green Bay – L (to Lovie's credit, he's always played the Packers well, this one will be closer than people think, but they don't have enough to win)
Week 4 - @ NY Giants – L (Eli took a huge step forward last year. If the passing game is on, and their D line is healthy, this will be a tough one)
Week 5 - @ Carolina – L (the Panthers could surprise people this season, they can run and stop the pass, if this was at home, I would pick a win)
Week 6 – vs Seattle – W (rebuilding team, they are too young or too old everywhere)
Week 7 – vs Washington- W (This one is losable, but the Bears can force turnovers on them)
Week 8 – Bye
Week 9 - @ Buffalo – W (the Bills offense is crap outside of Spiller, just run and we're good)
Week 10 – vs Minnesota – W (the Vikings are getting hurt and won't get the breaks they did last year. I figure the Bears can luck their way into this one, like last year)
Week 11 - @ Miami – L (the Dolphins are tough in the trenches, this one could be painful)
Week 12 – vs Philadelphia – L (our offense is begging to get ripped apart by blitzes, this can't end well)
Week 13 - @ Detroit – L (the Lions improve throughout the season, and swipe one at home
Week 14 - vs New England – L (too many turnovers here)
Week 15 - @ Minnesota – L (in the dome, this turns to crap)
Week 16 – NY Jets – L (sloppy turnover fest leads to another loss)
Week 17 - @ Green Bay – W (the guys play hard for Lovie in his last game and screw the Packers out of a better seed, I want to say screw them out the playoffs, but that won't happen)
That makes 6-10. This is the least excited I have been about a Bears season in a while.
