On sports center this morning they were talking about how Texas wouldn't necessarily want to move to the PAC 12 or whatever it's called now

and they said the first or second choice for Texas would be to come to the big ten. Any ody like this idea? I do. It would give us a power house football team and basketball team, plus more publicity especially with Texas getting their own network in a few years

Could you imagine if Texas and Notre Dame decided to join the conference? Talk about a power conference..

I think Notre Dame will join the Big Ten soon and they'll need one more to join to make an even 14. I'd look at Iowa State. They're a rival of Iowa and are the closest. Texas would be a stretch IMO. I think they'll look at joining the SEC before Big Ten. Proximity-wise it makes more sense.

Good points there I like Iowa state to come. And if not them second most logical would be Missouri

Are you talking about Texas? If so your right which is why it would be dumb for them to leave but if they make that choice I would love to have them in the big ten

Yeah I am, and thats why they wont join because i dont think the B1G wants them. But if the B1G offers them an invatation they will take it.

If Notre Dame doesn't come, Missouri and Iowa State would be the two logical choices. Two good programs as well.

I agree but where does that leave the other big 12 programs?
