***Some Rules to Lay Down*** - CHI CITY SPORTS l #1 Chicago Sports Fan Message Board

Alright guys, we've remained lawless for far too long. I want to lay down a general foundation of rules. These rules aren't for the staff because we're power hungry and we want to slap infractions/bans on people, it's for the better of the site.

I don't want advertising opportunities to be thrown out the window because they saw Poster #1 call Poster #2 a fucking retard multiple times in one thread. I don't want to lose potential posters because of situations like that either. Several posters here have PM'd me asking me to post something so this isn't as big of a problem.

If you want to argue, go for it. Do it in a way that isn't completely disrespectful by calling people fucking idiots, fucking retards, etc. Just use a little common sense with this folks. If you are being an antagonistic prick....this site isn't for you.

If you see instances of people going over the top while arguing, just report the post and we'll take a look at it. Each reported post creates a new thread in the staff forum so we'll all see it.

Outside of the arguing, the common rules are...

1.) Don't spam other sites, if you are interested in getting traffic/activity to your link, PM it to me and we'll try to figure out a symbiotic relationship that can help both of our sites.

2.) Don't spam multiple random posts. We're looking at you Chs.

3.) Just use common sense before posting stupid stuff.

4.) Half of your paycheck goes to us.

5.) If you join up with the sole intention of starting stuff from another website, or if something from another website is carried over to ChiCitySports, your account will be banned. If something happens on another site, keep it there.

6.) We reserve the right to ban your account, if we feel the need to.

Also, the 2nd rule applies to Code as well as chs/joey. 99% of their posts are spam
