Or Steve Smith's wingspan and hip speed. Wright does not come close on either.

Tall receiver, OL, DL, Linebackers, Safeties and Corners. Basically need to replace the aging defense.

We need a real WR regardless of height and ability.

My WR Board

1. Justin Blackmon
2. Michael Floyd
3. Kendall Wright
4. Alshon Jeffery
5. Dwight Jones

Heres where the shit hits the fan ...

is Angelo going to be around for the next draft?

We all know what we have needed over the years ...

and angelo has been there to make us question picks year after year.

But what if there ISNT an angelo next season to make the draft ??

If we have a new GM ... all bets are off.

We dont know yet. It's a pisser man.

Lets assume that the McCaskys have the sense ... if they want to,

to not only let angelo loose but Ruskell also.

If so that would be cleaning the deck from the top down.

NOW ... who do you replace them with ?

My list

1. WR, regardless of height someone who will be a consistent target and can get deep.

2. Tall WR, someone with some size and it does not matter if they are a #2.

3. DE, we need someone to groom behind Peppers and Idonije.

4. OL, I do not know if it is LT or a dominant interior player, but we need someone to push this group up from average.

5. CB, Tillman and Jennings have bad moments, but they have more good ones.

6. LB Depth, we need to start infusing some youth.

Well here we go again at LT with the most recently drafted LT's drafted are playing out of their posittions.

Do this time we find the winner in the draft as a starter at LT?

We cant go 0-3 ... that would be impossible.

Even angelo has to bat .333.

Sounds familiar.

I'd substitute "best DL available" for DE but I agree that it would be best if it was a DE.

I would put LB before safety and maybe before CB. They arguably need someone for the strong side and even if you disagree with that, depth is an issue. They can't afford to bet that they'll continue to be so healthy in that spot. There's also no guarantee that this Briggs contract thing won't blow up into serious trouble.

I'm glad you put CB on that list. The guys they have can't cover man-to-man. That was very, very evident yesterday.

Juron Criner is another big WR (also from my school )

He's Big (6ft. 4 in) and has good speed and can break tackles (see last video)
