Re-read what I wrote, perfect is never once used. This team is far from perfect and I have even said that the issues we are facing could push us out of the post season. I am just saying the fingers being pointed are at the wrong places. It is not the losses from the off season, it is the players we kept and paid that are the problem right now along with the coaching staff.

Before anyone flips on me let me clarify. I do not think we are playing like a team that would make the post season right now, and from a points standpoint I am correct in saying that. But I am fully confident when key players step up and we get past some injuries this we will in fact turn it around and be a top team in the west again.

I am the farthest from drinking the kool aid, and I know this team is flawed, and I also know this team has the potential to be great and has the potential to possibly miss the playoffs if they are not careful (injuries, experience etc)

As of right now I am not encouraged by what I see in every game, I dont look at the box score and see the final and jump for joy when I actually sit through a whole game, hence the kings game where the final score did not indicate the actual true gameplay that took place, which carried over to the oilers game and that is were we got exploited.

as far as those guys who are gone, remember....they are gone, they are a 2009-2010 memory in our hearts, they are not on the current roster. they werent traded for the hell of it they were moved for a reason.....cap space, and you can blame dale for that for sure, but at the same time he built the team that won the stanley cup, something that hasnt been here in years, not stan the puppet bowman.

Make sure you include yourself in that statement. We could all stand to take some time to think before we write something, not just "some of you guys." I would love to see an up tick in critical thinking around here.

did you read only the last sentence of my post? just curious.

im specifically talking about people complaining about players that are gone, and the dale tallon contracts....but go on.

and if this site is "clown shoes" then go to another site, i can think of one that has dust on it and is a ghost town, so there will be no clown shoes there, just alot of talking to yourself.

I just got here, but I don't think the site is clown shoes. I think there could be more activity. I think that some posters are freaking jokes (no names yet). And I think that I enjoy the Blackhawk faithful here. I enjoy that some people don't like/agree/understand the moves the 'Hawks were forced to make in the offseason. That can spark some serious debate.

Overall I have enjoyed my time here. I would hate to see more of the awesome Blackhawk posters leave because they think this is clownshoes.

Ohhh I read the whole thing, I just found the final statement particularly comment worthy as it seemed to imply that you yourself could do no wrong. I have also been contemplating leaving this site for some time now, and internet boards in general, and this seems as opportune a moment as any. Take care guys.
