He has the right to fire your ass, and in fact should do so unless he wants a workplace discrimination lawsuit against his company. Kobe got off lightly, in the real world he'd have lost the millions left on his contract, not just the 100 grand.

i dont think it's really the amount money that he really cares about...it's just that he got fined for what he said....of course kobe didn't really apologize...but then again i don't really blame him...but ya he should have said something else besides a gay slur and maybe he wouldn't have gotten fined
