I can say that just based on having a guy like Carmelo on the team you'd have a guy that could handle the ball (babies cry when Luol Deng dribbles), play with his back to the basket, and help Rose not fly through the air and make my heart stop.

This team is too dependent on Rose to score. Maybe as the season progresses you get more out of Hamilton, but so far, to me at least, they are too concerned about running their offense from :24-:10, and then panicking with shots as the clock winds down.
The offense will get better as the season goeson and Rip aclimates himself more into it, however this really needs a secondary penetration option off this flex look. Bad. Maybe Rip can be that guy a bit but his career hasn't shown me that as of yet with what he does off the bounce. The guy on the roster best sutied for it is actuall Watson and we need him to run the back up point(and he's actually a horrible fit for the flex at the point position)

it's too early with this Bulls team to say if they have the right guys but on a team with a completely inept scoring option like Noah who mainly relies on garbage buckets you need as much dribble penetration as possible to get the defense to shift and scarmble and lose help assignments off of Noah. Bulls permimeter players have a really tough time getting to the rim as clean as other teams because of Noah's lack of offensive game.

Any chance that improves over the season?

No.

Not IMO. Noah is what he is on the offensive end. Always will be. He's too hyper of a player and too much of an energy guy IMO to ever settle down and get any real post game. His entire game his entire life has been predicated on the exact opposite of that. Sure, he might add a jump hook or something but I don't ever see the day where Noah is a true back to the basket option or a guy teams have to respect 15ft from the basket. He'll get his token post touch every now and then but having him stay in one spot too long basically runs against what his strengths as a player are.

I've been to a lot of games, and sometimes I'll get there early enough to see some of the players shoot around. Noah is a guy that is always shooting early and late, and constantly working on post moves/shots.

Like FT said though, I don't see a day where he is anything more than what you see now. I know people don't like to hear it, but he is, especially with his contract, Ben Wallace 2.0

Now I'm far from a hater on any player in any sport, just not that impressed when it comes to LeBron.

In a way I think that comparison is a bit of disservice to Noah. Noah is a much better on the ball defender than Wallace ever was...and already much better on offense. Wallace was the better rebounder and help side defender though.

For the record, I hate Ben Wallace. He is one of the most overrated players I have ever seen. He rode some great Pistons team defenses to DPOY awards and cashed in...then nothing.
