Default The Benchmob

The Benchmob was the only reason the Bulls were in that game towards the end. Watson caught fire for a little, Korver got some 3's late, Gibson grabbed a handful of boards. Just way too slow of a start mixed with sloppy basketball & mental mistakes made it to far of a deficit to overcome. Bulls shot way to many 3's also...24 attempts & only made 8 of them (33%). It seemed like Golden State couldn't miss. It was like they were shooting into the Pacific Ocean while Chicago was trying to make it into an exhaust pipe..but the stats say otherwise. I guess they just made shots in the clutch moments.

I predicted 1 loss for us on the Cali trip; I just thought it'd come vs. the Clippers at the end of the trip, not Golden State. Oh well. We have the Jimmer show on Thursday. Hopefully the team can get it together then.

Go Bulls.

I agree. Watson helped keep the Bulls in it. The Warriors did a great job of relatively shutting down Rose. The Bulls just played a really bad game.

We can always count on the bench mob to bring effort and energy into the game. The starters need to bring that same intensity every night. Noah and Boozer were terrible. They need to want to be the guys that are playing down the stretch. I give all the credit in the world to our bench guys, they're fantastic as a group, but our starters need to get it together before we play the Clippers. Otherwise we'll be watching the Blake Griffin dunk contest.

I like what I saw with Watson and Rose on the floor together. This was the first time I saw Watson not defer to Rose like he did the rare times they were on the court together last year. They played well together

Ya TCF GSW did a solid job shutting Rose down. He shot 4-17 tonight. 1-8 on 3's.

Just a sloppy night for the Bulls tonight. Oh well. If there was someway to get the starters to play at the same intensity as the bench, that'd be great. I love our bench.

I'm not going to put much stock into this game. Hopefully this won't be what we'll be seeing over the season with an accelerated schedule.

We will be lucky to beat LA on Wednesday so let's focus on them first. Just need to start fast. Seems like the bulls had an issue with that last year.

Noah was horrible. Boozer was horrible. I never wanted Dwight Howard more than tonight. Those two guys are being paid a combined $31M to sit on the bench to end games.

I think that's a problem for the whole team. Last year they deferred to Rose a lot. There's been a lot less of it in these two games.
