I dont think he gives a damn who the coach is as long as he puts some emphasis on defense. LeBron knows he's running the show and a roster will make the difference.

True but if some coach was the reason why you didn't really look that "Lebron like" in the Cavs-Celetics series wouldn't it be easier to join that coach than have to deal with him again but with a younger, faster and more aggressive team? Boston beat Lebron to the ground and they are an old team, I'm not saying that our defense will be exactly like Boston's but can you imagine having to deal with that for quite awhile? Noah is already pretty damn good on defense and Thibs will make him better but adding Rose, Deng,Gibson and the rest of the crew would bring headaches to Lebron. |

This. This is an important point that I think Ive mentioned before. We're in the process of collecting assets that effectively could consolidate power and concentrate it in Chicago. We're subtracting a huge asset from Boston and adding it to Chicago. And we'll be doing it in FA...it really is kind of a join us while you can proposition to some degree. We were a 5 bordering on a 4 seed last year were it not for injuries. Weve pushed the Celtics and Cavs the past two years. If we didnt get LeBron, its conceivable that we could still take down anyone in the east. Last year, when Hinrich scored 17 points the Bulls were undefeated. Basically, we dont need a lot of help to become really dangerous. The voices would be very loud if LeBron didnt choose Chicago and then Chicago ends up beating his team going forward...and thats a very real possibility. He's better off joining the Bulls and helping turn them into a supercharged juggernaut.
