Many have anointed the Miami Heat as the team to beat in the NBA next season, including myself. Yes, they'll need to prove it on the court, but I can't put anyone ahead of them, even Boston or L.A. ...

Frankly if the bulls beat the heat to become eastern conference champions, it would be tantamount to winning a championship.
he's right though, we could win a game, but it's going to be awfully difficult to beat the asshat juggernaut. |

Agreed with Pink however you guys are giving them way too much credit. They still have to MAKE the Eastern Conference Championship. All signs are pointing to that it will happen however in today's age of sports, nothing is guarenteed. (Unless it's OSU choking in a BCS Bowl
)

the bulls are definitely able to beat the heat, sure they got the best 3 FA in the off season but there team isnt built all around. they have to depth at PG and especially center. noah will kill them at C.

The Heat are beat almost exactly like the first threepete Bulls. Elite players at SG/SF, there is no real PG, but a guys who are spot up shooters or role playing defenders. They have a scoring PF, and a defensive oriented center. |

I agree that they are built similar to the first three peat bulls because they have elite players at SG and SF. but, Wade isnt exactly MJ as a shooter. his game is different in alot of ways. In the other hand, ledouche is better than pip though.

The Heat are strong.
Just not as strong as many make them out to be. |

Heat hasn't proved a thing yet. Hell, it's still roughly 23-26 days even from NBA training camps even start. The formula to beating a team that hasn't played a game yet is to just forget about it until the season starts. Screw the hype, Go Bulls!

The Heat won't be that good at first, but neither will the Bulls. I don't think Miami will get past L.A. in the Finals. Miami would need to bust their asses just to get past Boston (healthy or not).
I think that clearly Miami looks to have the better team than the Bulls next season. I don't like saying it, but Chicago needs more firepower on offense, and dependability on defense to beat the Heat. I actually think that Miami is deeper than Chicago in terms of quality players. Though, the Bulls are solid at all 4/5 positions, while Miami is only solid at 3/5 positions. And even if they did have a chance to beat Miami... we should keep expectations lows, guys... the less pressure on the Bulls' shoulders- the better off they'll be.

I think the heat have the edge against us but I also think it would be a hard fought and close series. Our rebounding advantage will keep us in the series, in the end, Rose hasn't become a good enough go to scorer to win it for us. If he gets to that level this year, it will be a toss up. We can just kill them inside and on the boards.
In the end, I think the Celtics, if healthy can beat the heat. They have the depth and talent to do it with Orlando being a dark horse. The heat got nothing to stop Howard. He will terrorize them.
