There is no risk of the Cubs losing Garza in arbitration. The worst case scenario for the Cubs is that they go to arbitration and Garza wins his 10.5 million salary for next year.

I believe this puts the Cubs payroll around 90 MM. With Garza, we're looking at about 100.

It'll probably end up being above $100MM depending on whether they ultimately trade Garza.
