Let's see where they rank in a couple seasons. I expect Rizzo and Jackson off that list as they're going to be in Chicago.

Rizzo will probably still qualify by next year perhaps, depends on when he is called up. Jackson better not be on next year's list.

It also shows this interesting dichotomy in the Cubs system. Rizzo and Jackson are both nearly ready and Vogelbach and Baez were drafted last season. There is a pretty big gap between the readiness of our top 10 positional prospects.

I think Vogelbach will fly through the system his bat is pretty close to a sure thing as you can find. He is a very patient hitter already I think he will reach the bigs or be big ready much faster than Baez.

Now the only question is if they can keep his weight and maybe he could play a corner OF spot but that is a huge if.

What did Z do to the team over the years? What was so bad the he did? He won us a lot of ball games, I know that. .

I don't see how Vogelbach could play anything but first right now, and I don't think it becomes any more likely that he can move down the road. I really, really like Vogelbach's bat, but lets wait til he actually gets more than 30 ABs in rookie ball before we determine a trajectory through the minors for him. I am really excited though to see what he does, and where he is placed to begin the year.
