I recently Heard:
To CHC: James Loney (hate that bitch, remember 2008)
To LAD: Ted Lilly and Lance Berkman
To HOU: Tom Gorzelanny and LAD Prospects

That would be a shitass trade, pretty sure its fake though, and was from yesterday, so Lilly and Theriot to Dodgers is more recent.

It doesn't even make sense to me though, Why would we try to get Loney instead of prospects, that is why I think it is fake.

Yeah, I don't even really like Loney anyway. I don't want a starting 1st baseman who can only OPS around .770 every year. Where would he even play for the rest of this year? DLee's not going anywhere.

Now the rumor is that we're trading Lilly and Theriot to LA for Blake DeWitt and a minor league pitcher.

Blake DeWitt used to have some pop in the minors, but he doesn't look like that much of an upgrade over Fontenot right now.

The Cubs already have a ton of middle infield prospects, and if Theriot gets traded Darwin Barney will get called up. He's probably a better then Theriot as well...

They just got Podsednik, so I doubt they'd trade for Nady. So that leaves ether Fontenot or Baker. DeWitt's pretty much a younger Fontenot though.

Maybe they want Koyie Hill?
