all Soriano really has left in the tank is hitting HRs. Which is good at The Cell. But he can't do anything else and there's no room for him defensively

the thing that scared me is Ventura saying that Dunn will be used in the OF

as he should. he isnt great by any means, but if he cant handle being a dh than you have to do it and go sign a dh player, Id prefer damon.

He has a 4.11 career ERA if you take out his stellar season last year. Nothing amazing, but that is better than a fifth starter. He isn't going to repeat the sub 3 ERA next year more than likely, but you don't have to have a sub 3 ERA to be a pretty good pitcher. Last edited by dabynsky; 01-20-2012 at 07:43 PM. |

I would expect Paulie to play the majority of games at 1B. He may only DH when he needs a bit of a break from the field. However, if putting Dunn in the field will get him back on track at the plate, switch him in and out of the OF with Rios rather than at 1B with Paulie.

We already have that in Dunn(if he can bounce back this year).
