I have always liked Jackson, I think in the long run he will be better for us this season, especially since we can compete in the AL and need all the pitching help we can get.

Don't get this trade either...E-Jax is young, at 26, and is coming off of a pretty good year last year so I'm not totally down on him. To be honest, the White Sox must see something in Jackson to give up Hudson, I mean we were hesitant to trade Hudson for Fielder. I'm going to trust the White Sox on this one.

There's some big trade brewing, from what I've been reading on Twitter, and it doesn't seem to include Jackson.

Here's Joe Cowley from the Sun-Times: "Here's what I've just been told - "If [KW] pulls this off, the Sox will be considerably better by tonight.''"

And another: "Hold off on the Jackson trade folks, KW has something big cooking and if he gets it done Jackson trade is off."

"If I had names I would report them. All I've been told is it's big. Also been told that the chance of Hudson starting tonight is almost zero"

Lucas Harrell has already been named tonight's starter, so Hudson is as good as gone unless the deal falls off the table.
