Revelations, without giving away too many spoilers, basically doesn't progress the main story (Desmond and present day happenings). It just provides some good closure to Altair and Ezio's stories.
No news on AC3, or whatever they're going to call it. It's a yearly game, so it should be out around November of this year. I know before AC:R was announced, there were some pictures of Ubisofts office and on a desk was a picture of what looked like the American Revolution or the Civil War. Time will tell. |

It'll be interesting to see what time period they focus on now. But it will be rather weird to have a setting where its much open field than the cluster of buildings like AC1 and AC2 had. Regardless, its just more annoying having to go through the characters 'learning' period. Still, I wonder how many titles they are aiming for, as there are many eras they could keep using.
