Officially announced by Ubisoft. This is the LAST chapter of Ezio's story, or so they say, giving him a trilogy of his own. So this looks like it's another "Brotherhood" type game, and I'm fine with that. I thought Brotherhood was the best one so far.
Here's what the main series looks like so far: -Assassins Creed -Assassins Creed Bloodlines (PSP) -Assassins Creed II -Assassins Creed: Brotherhood -Assassins Creed: Revelations In this game you play as three different characters, in three different locations: Ezio in Constantinople, Altair somewhere in the 12th century, and Desmond in modern times. Some people don't like this series because of "boring gameplay and terrible story", but the gameplay has greatly evolved since the first one. I think the story is great and has a ton of twists and cliffhangers. Maybe it's because I was a huge fan of Lost and that has been known to be a show with a crazy story. Game will be released in November of this year for 360, PS3, and PC.

- Revelations isn’t Assassin’s Creed 3
- Revelations is supposed to clear things up to this point - Closing to the stories for characters - There is a great deal of Templar activity in Constantinople, battling the Ottoman - Constantinople is more populated than Rome - Game kicks off as Ezio heads to Masyaf - Ezio is trying to find information on Altair/the Creed - Ezio learns that Masyaf has been overrun by Templars - He later finds out that there is a very powerful artifact hidden in Masyaf - Needs 5 ancient seals to get access to the artifcat - Templars are interested in the artifact as well - Ezio will have new friends in the game such as Suleiman, Yusuf Azim, Sofia Sorto - Yusuf Azim: master assassin - Sofia Sorto: Sorto makes Ezio question what his life would be like if he wasn’t an assassin - More in-depth assassins - You can participate in the random events (girl asking for help, someone being robbed, etc.), or you can ignore them - Cinematic camera is getting changed - Desmond is in a coma following the events in Brotherhood - Desmond is essentially trapped in his own mind once the assassins place him into an animus - While Desmond tries to put his mind back together, he looks for a “nexus” which explains how Ezio, Altair, and himself are connected - Expect an improved multiplayer mode - Multiplayer focusing more on the story-side of things now so that players can get a more detailed look at the Templars and what they stand for - New game mode features multiplayer story quests - More customization as well as more characters |

Sounds like a good game. I just with they'd make an Assassin's Creed game in Egypt.

I would love an Egypt setting. I started playing the series again and I'm currently on AC2 and for those 6 assassins tombs you have to find, one of them was from Ancient Egypt. So the Assassins were present there. Sadly though, I don't think they'll go backward in time. The time keeps progressing. Crusades-->Italian Renaissance-->whatever AC3 will be about.
Just got my Game Informer in the mail. Cover?--Assassins Creed: Revelations. Will post more details after I read it. Sweet cover with a much older Ezio on the front and Altair on the back. Gotta love Game Informer covers. |

a few points from the GI article
*bomb making *hidden blade attachment that lets you use ziplines *Like Desmond using the Animus to re-live Ezio's life, Ezio will use 5 different keys to re-live parts of Altair's life. *Constantinople will be huge, and where most of the game will take place. There's also a massive underground city that is pretty much the beehive of the Templars. *Like all the other games, the cities were on flat ground, but Constantinople is set on hills so flatness no longer exists. *Desmond is stuck in an Animus and is trapped in his subconscious. Like in past AC games, the White Room was part of the loading screens. In this game there's a Black Room that is kind of like a puzzle. In this room Desmond will re-live his own life experiences and we'll get to learn more about his life. |

http://www.ripten.com/2011/09/19/ac-...al-as-a-bonus/
Due to the storage size of the PS3's blu-ray disc, Ubisoft is throwing in the first Assassins Creed as a free added bonus. Two games on one disc, pretty sweet, even though I already own AC1. |

It's in my top 3 series of all time. Some people think it's boring, bad story, etc..but I love every aspect of it, especially the story. The first one gets pretty boring after a while, I'll admit that, but AC2 was about 10x better than AC1, and Brotherhood was about 10x better than AC2. And about a month or so after it's out, the price will go down $20 for a few days. Pretty sweet.

A quality of many great video games is there ability to make the player feel like a total bad-ass. Assassin’s creed II is one of these rare games that had the ability to make you feel like a bad-ass and therefore when the time to pick up the sequel came.
