Can't believe anyone actually thought the Rockets would win the series. I still have a friend that thinks the Rockets win in 7. Maybe next year when KD is a Knick.

Philly is interesting.

Tobias Harris is the fourth best player on team. They have Monroe and Boban off the bench. They can cause size problems, have a huge embiid problem for Green. They have Butler and Reddick to trade a few threes but their point per possession would be stressed by the Western conference teams even with a huge rebounding edge.

Still...Tobias Harris is their 4th guy. They are deeper...and might just give the Warriors a good fight.

How anyone, in 2019, could think a D'Antoni coached team is going to win big playoff series is beyond me. He's the offensive Thibs.

Is getting blocked by the rim on your dunk the third most embarrassing thing behind getting crossed/dunked on? ?

It depends on your position and stature.

For Curry, failing a dunk is more embarrassing because getting dunked on is life in the NBA for a guard.

He doesn't need to remind us his athleticism is subpar and almost subadaquate for the NBA. On the one hand, this fact almost gets him a gold asterisk by his greatness which is very very very high on the all-time greatest basketball legends list. He did this without the speed, durability, strength or hops of his peers. The ultimate gym rat.

He has already declined considerably and his every year struggle through the playoffs with health issues indicate the Warriors run won't be as long as many had feared.

It takes alot out of this guy and he can't shoot 40 footers consistently with body pain and injuries that interfere with such precise calculation abilities. He can calculate, but a hurt body can't produce the exact replica meant to be physically produced by the thought with consistency.

This dude broke fucking basketball.

Missing a dunk is very embarrassing for him, because he had the option of a layup and he can do whatever he wants so long as he doesn't miss that. He fucked up and reminded us of his flaws.

In that situation idk why Curry went for the dunk over the layup. I get it was wide open, but we rarely see Curry attempt to dunk in the fast break setting even if he's open so that's more odd to me.

Players of all heights and levels of athleticism have missed dunks in game. Even MJ and Vince Carter have missed easy dunks...I won't fault Curry for missing, but I will fault him for trying in that situation

I think it was surprise at how open the lane was that distracted him and being the end of the game you sometimes misjudge the juice left in aging legs. His error margin is low in that situation...

Durant hurt..
Everything I've seen says calf strain and nothing related to the Achilles so crisis averted there as far as I know

Sucks for GS, but they still have the upper hand against everyone anyway

You mean as far as they are letting anyone know. It was interesting to hear how Reggie viewed it when he saw Durant look back. Not sure I'd dress him for Game 6.

Anytime you have a non contact injury there's good cause for concern. So yeah, I do mean as far as GSW is letting anyone know

Durant won't be back for Game 6. I think this changes a lot.. Rockets probably win Game 6 with no Durant. Game 7 should be interesting. I could see HOU winning the next 2.

Holy shit, Frank Vogel hired to coach the Lakers. I think he’s a hell of a coach, so I hope it works out, but that’s out of left field.

Well it was rumored LeBron wanted Thibs - From what remember of Vogel on the Pacers, he was like Thibs-lite.

So happy for that franchise. They lose in 5 to the Warriors.

I like how it was dead silent as the ball bounced around.
