Cubs sked out: Road trips to Oakland, Texas and Seattle. And 4 games with Sox instead of 6. Open on 4/1 at Pitts. Home 4/8 vs. Mil.

Tentative Cubs 21013 schedule: Open the season April 1 at PIT; Home opener April 8 vs. MIL; 2 vs W Sox at home & 2 at the Cell.

2 different 2 game series vs CHW..dont like that

#Cubs open 2013 season at PIT on April 1. Wrigley opener April 8 vs. MIL. Four games vs. White Sox May 27-30, starting with two at The Cell.

So they playing 4 game series with each team getting 2 home games... thats weird

#Cubs to face AL West in 2013, going to Oakland, LA Angels and Seattle. Rangers, Astros and Angels come to Wrigley.

The #Reds and #Angels will be the first teams in history to play an interleague game on opening day as #MLB unveils 2013 baseball schedule.

I've carefully broken down each game and it looks like a 97 loss season

BLS on the schedule:

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-b...ow-interleague-play-every-181731946--mlb.html

Each team will now play the same breakdown of games as everyone else: 76 contests against division rivals, 66 against non-division league teams and 20 interleague games.

This is actually fairly close to what I had guesstimated in my blog last year. The hard part was figuring out how they would sprinkle the random interleague series throughout.

Here's the link to everyone's schedule:

I like that the regular season is done before October. The World Series might end before Halloween then.

I'll probably follow the majority of the games no matter who the opponent is.

This is arguably the Cubs first real test of the season

Isn't that the Pirates? The Cubs as they stand right now are dogs to every team on their schedule?
