Getting plastered before a playoff game while telling the team to be responsible.

I'm no fan of Ditka, but that never happened, you either just pulled that out of your ass, or you don't understand the difference between before and after.

Here is Ditka on TV shitfaced after a game.

No wonder Ditka would chew gum so aggressively during the game. He didn’t want anyone to smell his breath

How about an all time hype/ bust team? Players that either didn’t live up to hype, draft position, or just broke your heart.
QB Cutler, McNown
RB Enis, Salaam, Benson
WR White, Terrell, Gage, R Williams, Braverman
TE Rodriquez ,K Davis
T Columbo, Carimimi, Williams
G B Sapp,
C Grasu
DE Haynes, Spellman, Ferguson
DT Melton, Sutton, Paea, J Gilbert
LB Cox, Bostic, K Green
CB Hall, Vereen, Bowman
S Hardin Wright Conte

I’m sure I’m missing a ton, these are a few that come to mind that I remember drinking the Kool Aid and getting food poisoning. Never forget the Harvey Unga Year’s!

Holy shit, you have no idea what is going on. After the game, not before. Is this too complicated?

Here's my all-time favorite guys that were just fun. Not necessarily the best player, but had something about them that were fun.

QB - McMahon for the head bands and pissing off Ditka all the time
RB - Johnny Bailey. Decent in Tecmo Bowl.
FB - Matt Suhey. Classic lunch pail FB. They don't make em that way anymore.
WR - Tom Waddle. Took a lickin, kept on tickin.
WR - Dennis Gentry. Little dude with some killer moves.
TE - Jim Thornton. How do you not like a guy called Robocop?
OT - Keith Van Horne. Loved watching him protect his QB from cheap hits after the play, like he did with Charles Mann.
OT - Big Cat Williams. Mediocre defensive end, solid tackle.
OG - Roberto Garza. He has his own brand of super donuts.
OG - Kurt Becker. Played against my teachers in basketball when I was in high school.
C - Olin Kreutz. Because he beat up people in the locker room.

DE: Alonzo Spellman. Dude was nuts, literally.
DT: Anthony Adams. Dude cracks me up.
DT: Steve McMichael. Cracks me up, but in a different way.
DE: Khalil Mack. Because he renewed hope in me.
OLB: Mike Stonebreaker. On name alone.
MLB: Hunter Hillenmeyer. Total over achiever, sorta like Rudy.
OLB: Wilber Marshall. Dude was a beast, a total headhunter and fun to watch.
CB: Lemuel Stinson. Lemonhead! Gotta love a dude who uses the word "gank" in an interview.
CB: Prince Amukamara. Best endzone celebration dance.
FS: Maurice Douglass. Loved hearing him on the radio talking to Devon the Black Martian.
SS: Gary Fencik. Worst dancer ever caught on video.

Dan Bazuin for being the worst pick of the last 20 years. Which is saying something.

Why have Henry Melton on there? He was a converted RB that made the Pro Bowl. For a third round pick, he did quite well.

Because he fell in the " broke my heart" category. I really thought he was a special find for us and would be an all-time great that would retire a Bear. After his Pro Bowl year and getting hurt he faded away. Really thought he'd be great with his size speed combination.

I like Buffone but he isn't one of the top 3 LBs of all time for the Bears....I'd rank Urlacher, Fortunato, George, Conner, and maybe even Singletary higher.

Mack has only been with the team a year and probably considered a DE in 4-3 defense...Also Hicks doesnt belong on an alltime-bear team.
He's been here a short time, but he's that good. Probably top 6.
