July's latest MLB news and notes - MLB News - FOX Sports on MSN

We have heard of this, for a while now and would be nice if this came true. But I don't see it because he has struggle this year with the bat. However, with it looking like Nady will be traded to Texas, they could match up as he will cost the least in spects and is a FA after the year. I hope this happens!

Thoughts?

Derrek Lee doesn't want to leave Chicago, but I think that he'd love to play for a contender

He probably would and def if in Cal, where he loves to be. He has spoken of not asking a trade to an contender. Who knows what will JH do, it's going to be interesting.

He refused a trade to a California team after 2008, but then we were supposed to be good in 2009. The Angels haven't been showing much interest from what I hear. They don't want a Rental player, they want a multi-year player.

Thought this would be another one of your blog articles, but then it wasn't.

Actually, you're incorrect there. Morales will be back in 2010, and they like him. They are actually looking for a player that isn't going to create a log-jam @ 1b after this season.
