Multiple Bears 1000 yard seasons...

2 Marshall 12, 13 (1508, 1295)
2 Alshon Jeffery 13, 14 (1421, 1133)
2 Booker 01, 02 (1071, 1189)
2 Conway 95, 96 (1037, 1049)
1 Marcus Robinson 99 (1400)

This would be one marker. Some impressive years for a traditional unsung position on the Bears.

Maybe Jeffery was better than the impression he gave me. He never seemed to be super fluid, but he got results. Still being opposite Marshall had to help.

Barrian had 2 yrs over 900, and Knox 1 yr. Muhsin was fun to watch cause he constantly demonstrated his outstanding technical skills, super fluid. Moose had 1 yr over 800; obviously his most productive years weren't in Chi.

Great points. Keep in mind, going back to 1977, the unfortunate thing is we never had really good Qb's. So who knows how good these wr's coulda been.

Comparison of current WRs to past:

Allen Robinson = Alshon Jeffery. Both have good height and jump ball ability, with a little wiggle after the catch.
Taylor Gabriel = Dennis Gentry. Both are small and shifty, with home run ability.
Anthony Miller = Marty Booker. Both can get open, make sharp cuts and the clutch catch.
Cordarelle Patterson = Curtis Conway. Good size and blazing fast speed.

Based on my projections:
Riley Ridley = Jeff Graham. Solid route runner and possession receiver.
Javon Wims = Justin Gage. Good size, and flashed a little, but in the end not fast enough.
Emanuel Hall = Mark Bradley. Fast, good size, raw, and injured.
Marvin Hall = Airese Currie. Fast, but will have a hard time sticking with the team.
Tanner Gentry = Dane Sanzebacher. Because we need a training camp hero.

Not on list: James Scott (1974-1980) (1982–1983 )
Scott ( a deep threat) was one of the few bright spots on a 1977 playoff team that featured Payton.
PLus he had one of the worst QB's we ever had throwing to him in Bob Avellini
