I would have given Wilks another year. They had no talent on their roster and it looked like Rosen was developing more in the 2nd half. Wilks did have some horrible in game management though.

People can make it out to be about race when all these black coaches are getting fired. The truth is though what matters is wins and losses. It's a coincidence that a lot of bad coaches had bad teams this year which translated to losses. If the coaches were white, they would have been fired. You can actually make an argument that GMs and owners went out of their way to HIRE black coaches when they were not qualified or they just sucked and now they have to fire them because the team sucks.

I think Wilks deserved another year but oh well. I think Vance Joseph got a raw deal as well. Side note: every time I hear his name, I think of the song Riptide by Vance Joy
