-- Kept Jay to his lowest sack numbers for a full season (15 games qualifying) since he joined the Bears.

-- Rank #4 in power rushing in the NFL.

-- Rank #2 in the NFL in limiting stuffs

-- Rank #7 overall in Rushing Oline

-- Tied for #7 overall in pass protection

-- Only player from the team to make the pro-bowl came from the Oline

C?

Come on man.
Come on.

until there are zero penalties and zero sacks, until gale sayers can come out of retirement and run for 2000 yards, we need to draft nothing but o-line.... didnt you get the memo?

We need a new RG. No doubt.

Montgomery should be kept. Grasu to back him up. But worried about him.

Slausen is the most under-rated LG in the NFL.

Long will be fine at RT.

Leno had a bad game against Detroit - as did many players. Otherwise, he had a solid season for a first year LT. Least penalized onlineman on the team and only 5 sacks allowed (2 against detroit in last game). I'd like him to compete for the position. But it's his to lose in my mind.

I got the Olline as a B- to B.

But that doesn't fall in line with the narrative some on this board like to spew.

An OL will struggle with 1 inadequate player. DCs will attack the weak point and it is difficult for the unit to function.

The Bears played most of 2015 with 2 inadequate players on their line in Grasu and whoever played RG.

Grasu should get better.
Leaving 1 inadequate player to be replaced.

All true. Teams do things to mitigate a weak player, IE keeping a TE in, chip blocking, or moving the RB over to help.

Ducasse has to go. That needs to be an upgrade. We should be fine everywhere else - and probably even better than this year. Improving from a B to a B+/A

If I had to guess I would say, Long, Slauson, Grasu and maybe Leno?

All we need is a RG that can play LT, a LT that we can shift over to RT, and a RT that can be serviceable at snapping and can play C, and then this board will be happy with the offensive line.

Fisch, you come out of no where, haven't posted in ages, and this is the garbage you spill? Horrible evaluation, and the grade is an absolute joke compared to the grade handed out for Cutler.

I'm sorry, but this is just terrible...

So much for having an editor :shifty:

Maybe my grade was harsh, but then again, my grade isn't a bad grade either with all things considered. The offensive line was good, and I think the line was made better by Cutler making better decisions with the ball along with the running game picking up. Obviously Slauson is severely underrated, but with this group, you have 3-4 potential starters for next year and two players playing brand new positions.

This group has room to grow but there are plenty of reasons to feel optimistic for 2016.

Thanks for all comments and feedback
