Nah, being from Chicago I'm fine with it all--temp or snow. It just never ceases to amaze me how bad Portland drivers are--especially when rain and snow are in the mix.

Try coming to the southwest.

People freak the fuck out over nothing. Light rain, gotta go 20 in a 45 and leave 8 car lengths at the stop light just to make sure I don't randomly start sliding into the cars in front of me. it is fucking ridiculous.

the other funny one is when we do get snow, say six inches on the roadway, there is always some jackass driving 50 miles an hour in his jacked up truck swerving through traffic.

You just described Portland drivers exactly--even though it rains from September to June. Single rain drop? slow to 20. Single snowflake? skid into a ditch, ESPECIALLY if you have a inferiority complex and thus drive an SUV--they are the 1st into the ditches.

Spring has literally sprung. Walked the dog for 30 minutes outside with just a sweatshirt. All of the snow is almost melted besides the massive piles at the end of the driveway.
