If you haven’t tried anything from Phase 3, you are missing out. Former head brewer of More Brewing branched out on his own an is brewing out of Lake Zurich Brewing. Some of the best beer out there in the Chicagoland area.

I'm a big fan. Do you use a mix or make your own? Heat level 1-10? Horseradish?

I try to have at least two brands of Vodka, premium, like Grey Goose, or Stoli, and then mid level like Smirnoff for bloody mary's, because I think top shelf vodka is wasted on that drink.

I usually just use zing zang mix. Sometimes I'll try other mixes. I've also made them with tomato juice/clamato/pickle juice. All ways taste pretty good, but I always come back to zing zang. Not a fan of horseradish, and it's got to be spicy. I agree on the vodka thing. Right now, I'm using Pinnacle habanero vodka. Yeah, they make habanero flavored vodka. I like to rim the glass with lime and dip in celery salt. Then I'll mix and put in a spicy sausage/celery/pickle/peppercioni/celery salt/hot sauce (tapatio is the best imo) Worcestershire/black pepper/lime/and paprika. My last couple have been without the food though, just quickies to drink before sleep.

If using clamato, technically it's a Caesar.

Wish I like Bloody Mary’s, but I just can’t do the tomato juice.

That would suck, the bloody mary is my favorite savory cocktail.

My recipe, minus amounts because I have no idea:

regular V8
worcestershire sauce
lime juice fresh preferred
celery salt in the drink, rim optional
garlic powder
hot sauce
inexpensive vodka like Smirnoff, because you wont taste it, not rot got like Skol, why would you do that to yourself?

Optional
horseradish
pickled Jalapeno juice
hot pickle juice
regular pickle juice or olive juice, garlic stuffed olive juice is a nice touch.

I make them any anywhere on the heat scale from 1-10, wife likes 3-4 I go for 7-8, I have made some 10 for people. Bragging about how hot you make something should not be a thing, any asshole can add more cayenne pepper or hot sauce.

I rarely go crazy with the garnishes, a celery stick or a lime wedge will do. I do love it when restaurants go crazy with garnish, shrimp, bacon, burnt ends.

This is a bit much.

You may want to re-think your pizza toppings, maybe Italian Beef and giardiniera

Yeah, I just like the classics. Celery/pickle/peppercioni/sometimes a hot sausage link. Like the size of a slim jim but half the length.

Do you have a Costco membership?

The Kirkland American vodka is better than Tito's and costs 12.99 for a 1.75 liter. Best value for vodka in the land. period.

Literally save the cost of my membership in savings on vodka each year.
