Quite possible, but we were saying the same things around this time regarding Fielder. Boras overplays his hands sometimes, but far more often he is able to get the deal he is looking for.

Forgot about Rafael Soriano too. I think Edwin Jackson and Carlos Pena fired him as well for trying to shoot for the moon.

Yeah there are definitely examples of Boras overplaying his hands. Soriano was a bad misread of the market that teams weren't going to be willing to give up a 1st round for a reliever with the new draft rules. Jackson definitely did fire Boras after settling for the 1 year deal with the Nats.
