Expecting Turner to get the mote now. Alcantara should be on standby for marrow.

Hope I'm not speaking too soon but this is not a game I expected the Cubs to be able to take...nice work by Bryant and the bullpen

The problem with Motte is he really only throws one pitch.

Think they split the series. They win the last one to get the split. Grenke has been too dominate this year. Hammel will have to be perfect to steal one. 3rd game Hendricks has the ability to toss a gem and he will have to pull one off or he will get mashed.

Still a split vs a team like this is nothing to be mad at.

Called it. I have watched Kershaw and the Dodgers lately. Kershaw has been leaving hanging curves and thats what Bryant blasted. Dodgers are a very inconsistent team. They seem to play up to competition and I bought they care about the Cubs. They have been struggling with the bats considering their lineup.

Dodgers do not scare me maybe come playoff time they will if we are there. The Giants have been killing them. Giants have looked great. Cardinals is a mind fuck. They seem to get every bounce and make the crucial plays. But, fuck them, its the Cubs time. May not be this year but its soon.

Also, Ramirez and Soler went to AAA for rehab. They are coming soon again.

Joe Maddon guessing that Jorge Soler could be a week away from a rehab assignment. @Cubs @WBBMNewsradio

Supposedly the first curve hit for a home run off Kershaw this year.

I would be surprised if Alcantara and Turner don't get promoted. Wada and Fowler to the DL.

  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I'm guessing Sczur in CF until Fowler gets back?

Boy, I hope not. Really looked tenative out there last night although I give him credit for playing it safe with the Cubs leading in the game. I felt at least one of those balls out to him was catchable. Not sure on the time frame for Fowler but Wada should be hitting the DL....Alcantara should fill one of the vacancies. He deserves another look.
