Whom would you like to see as DePaul's next head coach? Are there any rumored favorites yet? And how can the university possibly justify AD Jean Lenti Ponsetto making another hire with her poor track record?

If they can pry Bobby Hurley away from Buffalo(shouldn't be hard), that would be a good start.

DePaulfan21 only posts like once a month now :crying:

school is busy :(

on another note, our athletic department is A COMPLETER AND UTTER JOKE what a garbage hire. Hire a search firm to do your job for you and then all they do is come up with the brilliant idea to rehire a guy who is old and would not have gotten another head coaching gig, not to mention he bailed at the first scent of bigger stage last time. no loyalty, i have been heated about this hire all week

I was not thrilled with the Dave Leitao (re)hire, but the 2019-2020 recruiting class includes, along some other pickups, two 4 star freshman and two previously ranked 4 star transfers. ESPN currently has their recruting class ranked at 25. I"m sure the new stadium is a playing a huge part but you have to give the coach some credit as well. Markese Jacobs is a great local signing but unfortunately tore his ACL in January. He's expected back on the court by the end of the year. Things finally seem to be looking up for the program.

Getting Charlie Moore is huge. Big transfer there.

For sure. I wonder why he struggled to get playing time at Kansas? Hopefully he gets the waiver to play right away. Carte’Are Gordon is an interesting transfer as well. He was a top 100 rated ESPN recruit in 2018. Darious Hall is also a transfer that is expected to contribute next season.

That Kansas team was a damn mess. He should get a waiver.

I'm very disappointed to hear that Carte’Are Gordon has entered transfer protocol.

DePaul is 7-0. Best start in 20 plus years. Big game against Minnesota tomorrow.

I think Minny beats them rather easily. But we will see. If DePaul wins, they might actually be on to something this season.

DePaul is better than past seasons. Minny is weak. Should be an interesting game.

8-0! Nice win by DePaul in a poorly officiated game. The team must improve their FT shooting. Moore is a stud but he can't miss those late FTs like he did today.

Moore and Reed are studs. Weems is going to be a very good player one day. I'm surprised we haven't seen more from Markese Jacobs. He's a freshman, but he was a 4 star recruit.

Good win for DePaul. Glad to see it. Going to have a tough one with Texas tech but excited to see an 8-0 start!

Fuck yeah. Great win in OT tonight. This team has to be ranked now, right?
