Girardi ain't leaving the Yankees to manage the Cubs LOL whoever started that rumor was probably drunk as fuck.

Girardi said he would like to manage the Cubs. Paul Sullivan and David Kaplan said there is a good chance he will come to Chicago.

He never said he would like to manage them, he said "It’s a great city, it’s a great baseball town" and then said he wouldn't discuss managing them saying "I grew up in Peoria. I grew up a Cub fan. But right now, I’m extremely happy where I’m at".

Oh...I just saw a report that said that. But in the back of his mind, he would like to manage the Cubs but like you said, why would he leave the Yanks and winning championships for a team that is getting younger and who knows how the younger ones will produce. I don't think, he's that dumb.
