Hawks can't skate with this team. They're simply being beat up and down the ice. First time Ive seen them this year and Calgary looks far more impressive than Vancouver.

Also...

Anyone know why there is a goal crease? Its a big waste of blue paint...forwards wander in and out of there as they please with nary a call.

Emery falling on every shot for the period. Eventually Calg was going to slip one high.

Shit happens and you're right, the Hawks simply don't have their legs against the Flames, but a lot of these mistakes are preventable.

It is clear that the back to backs and the extended time on the road is catching up with this team. 15 points minimum through 9 games with 7 of them being on the road is a hell of start.
