We did it. Somehow.

Even though we got outplayed.

All the thanks goes to Ray Emery. Hell of a game. And Hossa for saving us.

Fucking pathetic showing by the Hawks, so lucky to escape with points. And to think goaltending was to be our weak-spot, and may very well still be as we go on. That said, I'll take the 2 points.

I like our chances with the goaltending we've gotten the past week or so. It is clear that the season is start to wearing on these guys with all of the road games. Hopefully the few days off between now and the Sharks game will result in this team, the whole team, showing up.

They totally did not deserve to get the two points last night. The passing was just plain horrible. Not sure how much of that was them being tired and how much was what seemed to be a very bad ice service. It was nice to get the two points of course.

Emery stood on his head all night, and I will be the first to admit that I did not see that coming. As bad as he looked in his first game, he looked equally as good in this one. I will definitely take that sort of effort out of a back up.

Hammer and Kruger both had strong games again last night. Everyone else seemed a bit off.

All of that being said, if they give that sort of effort in San Jose on Tuesday, it will be the first regulation loss of the season.

what a game that was. The hawks were flat out dominated all game long and of all people to bail them out was fucking emery. Not having Dave Bolland in the lineup hurt our depth a little bit.
