Another decent layoff awaits the Hawks after tonight's game, with the scheduling staying clear until next Thursday. After a late surge to steal two points from the Islanders on Friday night, the Hawks can affect a divisional opponents' playoff hopes if they can take two against the Predators tonight. It won't be easy with the Hawks playing last night before hitting the road to Nashville, but this team hasn't let a high degree of difficulty affect them before, have they?

LET'S GO HAWKS!!

Oh when Hacksaw Jim Duggan does it, it's nice and fun. When the Wild Mascot does it suddenly it's gone too far

So I see Darling was injured during morning skate and is out 3 weeks? Hope this isn't the start of some seriously bad injury luck...

I've never had to knock on wood... Not singing, just saying.

But I'm pulling out, going to see Logan card to do I'll miss most of it.

Anyone else think Kane was leaning in to give crow a peck on the cheek after the empty net?

Another 4 goal win. 22 and Soupie contribute. High level team win picking up Crow on an OT/SO travel back to back.

got some first line work...

its almost like Chicago stopped scouting him when Detroit left the division and don't realize the player they have right now quite yet?

I saw a couple good plays yesterday...he nearly got a point, and he handles the puck well which is huge for being able to keep the speed of play and possession the rest of the team is displaying right now. He can skate and handle so he facilitates what the superstars are doing.

When it is time to win a puck?

Somebody described his board work with hockey lingo and I had no idea if it was a good or bad thing the player you compared him to. I view him as a guy with stick skills...and when a human man wants to stop the show and take the puck from him they can just take it like dispossessing a child of the cheerio bowl providing the morning ammo. You just assault him and take it, he'll just stare at you shocked like "why would you spoil the fun I was having?"

That could be a bit of a stereotype working against him...and he deserves time. I'm patient and giving him time. He needs to WIN THE JOB like everyone else, and that means points because Hino won't drought for long I can promise you that.

It's starting to feel like it'll be one of those "clear your calendar til mid-June" type of summers, isn't it?

Also: good for Tootoo to dent the net last night. Only caught the highlights cause of work but sounds like he was all over the ice. He's been through a bunch of personal demons to make it this far in his career and it's nice to see him get rewarded.

Sure is! I loved seeing him score last night. Can't help but route for the guy.
