Yeah... this looks like a big game since the Sharks are 7-0-1. But I'm not really thinking much of it. If we win, great. If we lose, I won't over think anything about this team. A few days of rest should definitely help though, especially on the road. With that said, GO Hawks!

San Jose has a 9PM game @ Anaheim today, so hopefully rest will matter this time. Bet it goes to OT and both team stay semi-undefeated.

Bolland is supposedly "hopeful" for the game on Tuesday. Still surprised that the Blackhawks haven't called up a forward from the AHL though. Thought this would be the perfect time to push a couple of the young guys (Saad, Bickell and Shaw in particular) by having someone brought up due to the injury issues as a safe net and apparent fatigue by the team early on.

Bolland on ice today for practice, per Tracey Myers

Wow, 2-0 sharks 5 mins into the game. Not the start the hawks were looking for. Playing catch up the rest of the way now.

This could get ugly. We're getting Crawford circa 2012....really, REALLY shaky. Once again a big hit changes things....not really sure why but it seems to happen a lot.

And they BETTER get their heads out of their asses and start hitting top shelf on Niemi....its like they still dont know thats his soft spot.

Usually this early in a game a PP is not that big, this one though, i think is important to get momentum back. Have to get something going because the Sharks are out playing the Hawks in every way.

Fuck balls, and back to a 2 goal lead for San Jose, might be time to bring out Emery. Fucking Crawford is struggling....And now Shaw slams one home 8 seconds later. lol jesus

Good to see Saad bury one. He has been playing better the last few games and has been more consistent.

Two out of the three goals could have been avoided by 1. Winning a faceoff or 2. Not turning it over at the blueline. Need to get better at both. Blackhawks have been real, real sloppy with the blueline turnovers this road trip. Kane/Stalberg/Shaw have been 3 guys turning it over big time the last few.

This is a fun game to watch. Been a while since I've gotten to watch a game this wide open. Kind of surprised we haven't seen more of this with the limited prep time and condensed schedule.

Ahahaha! I'm sorry, but seeing a ref get a puck in the ass is funny.

Loved the way these officials handled the big hit. Not that it was particularly dirty, its just that it was very dangerous and completely unnecessary. Mayer's head was down, a slight bump would've accomplished the same thing but Desjardins went for the big "crowd pleaser" and I believe the officials recognized that and punished him accordingly. Good job....unusual for NHL refs.

I'm loving the domination that we are having on these digs and boards. Something we haven't seen too much of on this road trip.
