FWIW, he did a pretty decent job on Aaron Gordon last game. He wasn't on his game last night though, that's for sure. The whole bench was bad, as you said. We'll see what happens next game.
Aaron Gordon has been awful to start this season.

Taj played 42 on a bum ankle

it looks like thibs has fallen back into his old ways

we'll never win anything if thibs can't grow and adjust

great defensive mind but im starting to question him
C'mon man, these guys are getting paid millions of dollars and you are acting like they are working 18hrs in a sweatshop. Thibs played them long because Noah is hurt, and the bench was going to let the Bucks win. The biggest problem is Snell being the only other SF/SG with defensive length on the team. Jimmy is still getting over worked because Snell's shot selection and efficiency has been horrible.

I think the minutes will balance out more as the season moves on and guys get healthy and learn their roles.

Exactly, I wouldn't count playing against a guy who can only dunk or take ill advised threes like Aaron Gordon, as a good example of Dough-Mac's "improved" defense.

I would argue that with the minutes Gibson has played the past couple games and the quality of his play, his ankle injury must not be that bad. That...or he can play though pain and not really be affected. I see what you mean though, but it's early. If he's still doing this later in the season where there's no reason to, the complaints will have far more merit.

looking at the box score you couldn't tell he was hurt

but i do think he is playing hurt

I'm just saying that if everyone can roll over Doug because he doesn't have quickness or whatever, Aaron Gordon should've been dunking on him all day. Never said Doug's defense was "improved" or even good.

hopefully Noah coming back will reduce Gasols minutes

he should only play 30 minutes...so far hes played 28-37-36-41-36

he cant ride a 34 y/o Gasol like that

Is there a rookie who has played well to start the season? Elfrid Payton might be the only one that I can think of.

No this hyped up draft class is awful. Even Payton doesn't have gaudy numbers beyond his assists.

Well...it's only been 5 games. They may turn it around yet. KJ McDaniels 3rd in scoring though...that's hilarious.

With MCW out and Noel not really being an offensive guy...I can actually see that almost being true. Tony Wroten is their #1 I think lol.

Too many pump fakes...I know people have to be aware of his 3pt shot, but what good is it if you never take the shot? He gets more aggressive later in games it seems like, but man...he's just gotta jack some of those.

We're talking about how terrible this draft class has been and we're a week in.....

ok.....

Come on, guys. Wiggins, Parker and even Gordon- have shown serious flashes of potential. Lets just wait at least until late December before we start to judge this class.
